MORE THAN A MEAL

One Fundraiser.

Three Returns.

Feed the Need raises the funds that keep your school strong, forms your students’ faith, and carries the love of Christ across the world.

More than a Fundraiser – Discipleship sits at the center, even in fundraising. Your students raise real funds, and they do it in a way that forms their faith.

More than a Service Project – Your students serve with their own hands, packing meals for families facing hunger. That work shapes them as much as it helps the people who receive it.

More than a Meal – The meals carry the love of Christ into places where the gospel is hard to reach, reminding people they are seen and loved.

A WIDER CIRCLE

People Give to People They Know.

People Give to People They Love.

Feed the Need is a peer-to-peer fundraiser. Your students and their families invite the people already in their lives to give: grandparents, neighbors, coaches, friends from church.

Seventy to eighty percent of the money comes from people who have never given to your school before.

When the campaign ends, those supporters are still yours. You have a wider circle of people to steward, and a school community that has practiced generosity together.

We Carry the Weight With You.

Your School Provides

Four leaders who carry the campaign, giving a few hours a week each while your teachers give a few minutes a day. On packing day, you bring a room, some tables, and a handful of volunteers ready to work.

Our Team Provides

Everything else. The food, the equipment, the shipping, the technology, and every piece of marketing your campaign needs. Your consultant is on a call with your team every week, and if you don’t have a pallet jack, we handle that too.

MORE THAN A MEAL

Every Meal Is a Key.

In places where it is hard to talk about Jesus, a bag of rice given in his name says what words sometimes cannot. Your students pack the meal. A ministry partner already living in that community carries it to a family, and the door opens.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

The Questions You Are Probably Asking.

What does this cost?

A $5,000 service fee for 10,000 meals, plus 25% of what you raise.

The $5,000 puts food in the hands of ten thousand families and sends a small stipend into each community, so a family can add local produce or protein to what your students packed. It is the difference between teaching your students about service and handing them a scoop.

The 25% brings you a platform, a campaign website, every poster and email and social graphic, volunteer training, and a consultant on the phone with your team every week for ten weeks.

A school that raises $56,000 keeps $37,000. It also keeps a wider circle of supporters, and students who have seen for themselves how the gospel reaches places they may never go.

Your school names four leaders, and each of them gives a few hours a week. Your teachers give a few minutes a day. On packing day you need a room, some tables, and a handful of volunteers willing to work.

Everything else comes from us, and your consultant is on a call with your team every week from the beginning. Nobody on your staff has to invent anything or wonder what happens next.

Sometimes the answer is no, and we would rather find that out together on a call than three weeks into a campaign.

Feed the Need works best when a Head of School is genuinely behind it, when four people can be named to lead it, and when it is not competing with another major fundraiser in the same semester. Schools that try to run it with one exhausted volunteer and a crowded calendar do not get the results they hoped for, and we would rather tell you that now.

Feed the Need was built for K-12 Christian schools. Some run it campus-wide, some in the lower school only, some in the upper school. A school with fewer than fifty families has raised $70,000 doing this. Size is rarely the thing that determines whether it works.

Your students pack a nutritionally balanced meal, built for the community receiving it. Those meals ship through Feed the Hunger to ministry partners in places like Bangladesh, Haiti, Sri Lanka, Ghana, and Appalachia.

The part that matters most is who hands them over. The meal is not dropped off by a stranger passing through. It is carried to a family by someone who already lives there, who is already known, and who is already doing the work of the gospel in that place. In hard places where it is difficult to talk about Jesus, a bag of food given in his name says what words sometimes cannot

Feed the Need funds your school and feeds families who are genuinely hungry. Both are true, and neither is a cover story for the other. The need is real. The meals are real. The money your families raise is real, and it stays with your school.

Here is what we would add. Your students spend fifteen sessions in Scripture learning why God’s people care for the poor, and then they pack the food with their own hands. Most fundraisers ask children to sell something. This one asks them to serve someone.

Register, then invite the people already in their lives to give. Grandparents, neighbors, coaches, friends from church.

Seventy to eighty percent of the funds raised come from people who have never given to your school before. This is not another ask of the same families you have already gone to three times this year.
